Job Description:

Strike Interactive is an award-winning Interactive Agency specializing in building web technology platforms and services for clients in a broad array of industries (real estate, entertainment, cosmetics, etc). We are looking for experienced senior web application developers to future develop our platform and technologies.Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years direct experience with ColdFusion AND 3 years withother server environments (PHP or ASP).Responsibilities:- Hands on development of platform capabilities and features- Coordinating with other team members (managers & peers)- Ability to multi-task various projects and deadlines- Ability to interpret details from specs and implement required code to meet projectrequirementsMinimum Required Skills:- Five or more years experience developing data driven web applications, with emphasis on CMS& E-commerce development- Minimum five years direct experience with ColdFusion- Minimum three or more years direct experience with PHP or ASP- Direct experience with version control (SubVersion or CVS)- Extensive experience with CFCs and OOP development techniques- Direct experience with modern application frameworks (FuseBox, Model-Glue, or ColdBox)- Experience with consuming web services for application integration- Database experience (SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL) * stored procedures & schema design- Ability to consistently deliver and meet aggressive deadlines- Strong verbal and written communication skills- Self-starterThese skills a plus:- Flex experience- Flash & Flash Remoting Experience- Java- AJAX, CSS or JavaScript.- Linux shell scripting & MS Server managementStrike Interactive is located in New York, NY but we allow our team members to telecommute, so the ability to communicate is extremely important. Candidates located in the New York metro area are preferred.All candidates must pass hands-on development exam, given during interview process, whichwill test proficiency in ColdFusion and SQL.
